The Closing Plate (Bypass Plate) is designed for use with ILC DR-DF modular Dual Line valve assemblies. It installs on an unused base position in place of a valve module, allowing the position to remain closed until an additional valve is required.
The closing plate provides a convenient way to configure a Dual Line valve assembly for current lubrication requirements while retaining the ability to expand the system later. ILC specifically identifies closing plates for future system expansion and for closing unused BSP/NPTF positions.
