Description
Dual Line Initial Base Element 3/8 NPTF
SKU: 5N.BB.A.NPTF
This Initial Base Element is designed for the inlet side of a Dual Line metering valve stack. It provides the primary connection point for the incoming lubricant supply and establishes the alignment and sealing surfaces needed for the DF and DR metering modules installed above it. This version uses a 3/8 inch NPTF inlet port and is used when the lubrication system requires NPTF threading rather than BSP.
Each base element includes O-rings, fixing screws, washers, and threaded bushings to support proper assembly. As a start-point base, it pairs with compatible intermediate and end bases to form a complete metering valve section within a Dual Line lubrication system.
Built from zinc nickel plated steel, the Initial Base delivers reliable performance in high-pressure environments and supports long-term system durability.
How Dual Line Systems Work
Dual Line lubrication systems use modular DF and DR metering valves that operate at pressures up to 400 bar. Their modular design and zinc nickel plated construction offer clear advantages over traditional monoblock dividers, and the valves are available in multiple outlet configurations to suit a wide range of applications.
Each base can accept single or double discharge modules, and all module types are offered in two flow ranges. DF valves deliver a fixed discharge per cycle, while DR valves provide adjustable output for points that require more precise control. The model numbers indicate output capacity, not a sequence.
