The 5N.BB.B.NPTF Intermediate Base Element is designed for DF1, DF3, and DR3 Dual Line metering valves. It provides the sealing surfaces, alignment features, and internal flow passages required for reliable valve operation within a Dual Line lubrication system. This version includes a 1/4 inch NPTF outlet port and is used when NPTF threading is required for the installation.
Each base element includes O-rings, fixing screws, washers, and threaded bushings for proper assembly. As part of the DF1-DF3-DR3 valve group, this intermediate base supports both single and double discharge modules and can be used in new Dual Line systems or when expanding existing installations. The zinc nickel plated steel construction ensures long-term durability in high-pressure industrial environments.
How Dual Line Systems Work
Dual Line lubrication systems use modular DF and DR metering valves that operate at pressures up to 400 bar. Their modular design and zinc nickel plated construction offer advantages over traditional monoblock dividers, and the valves are available in multiple outlet configurations to accommodate different system requirements.
Each base can accept single or double discharge modules, and all module types are available in two flow ranges. DF valves deliver a fixed discharge per cycle, while DR valves provide adjustable output for lubrication points that need precise control. The model numbers indicate output capacity, not a sequence.
